Lesson 1: Receiving Revelation by Journaling
In order to receive divine revelation in journaling it is vital to posture our hearts properly. In this session we will explore the different expressions of journaling and practical applications for: receiving pure revelation, quieting your soul, finding security in God, and maximizing relationship with your Father.
Lesson 2: Retaining Revelation by Journaling
Once revelation is received, it must also be retained! In this session we’ll look at some keys for making sure the things the Lord shows you don’t slip through the cracks and get forgotten. We’ll also identify the heart motivation that takes journaling from a routine spiritual discipline to an exciting spiritual privilege!
Lesson 3: Properly Interpreting Revelation
Interpreting revelation you receive is a skill developed over time. But a proper framework and filter for approaching dream language and symbolism makes all the difference. This session will give you simple but powerful tools for properly understanding the revelation God is giving you through journaling.
Lesson 4: Testing the Content
When journaling revelation we receive, whether prophecy, dreams, visions or other encounters, it is vital that we discern the true from the false. It is equally important that we not add our own prejudices or preconceived filters to what God has given. This session will help you test what you have received and hold on to what is good!
Lesson 5: Keys to Wise Administration
Moving from revelation and interpretation into application requires us to walk in the wisdom ways of God. A solid foundation in God’s Word and a heavy dose of humility go a long way in keeping our hearts properly aligned as we journal and then step out. This session will root you in the security of the Father’s love, giving you confidence to trust His leadership.
Lesson 6: Maturing in Your Stewardship
Maturing in any relationship involves give and take, a deepening of love, and choosing to never outgrow the A, B, C’s. This is true in our relationship with God as well as our relationships with each other. This session will equip you with five strategic questions that will keep you aimed toward maturity in receiving, retaining and releasing revelation through journaling.
